Depop

When a Depop boost fee can still apply

A boost fee depends on attribution, not only on whether the boost switch is on today. Depop’s boosting help describes a fee when a sale follows a qualifying interaction within 28 days. Turning boosting off after that interaction does not by itself make the sale unboosted.

The 12% rate in the current US table is tied to listings created on or after March 23, 2026. A listing created earlier can still sell under a later policy, so the listing date and the sale date are separate facts. Figures below were checked against the published policy pages on October 8, 2026. They illustrate one supported case. They are not an invoice.

The two bases stay apart

Processing uses price, shipping, and tax. The boost percentage uses the item price plus seller-arranged buyer shipping, without tax, and without platform-retained label postage. Showing one blended “Depop fee” hides which base moved.

If a previous click or save might still be inside the 28-day window, the unsure comparison is the honest output. The tool does not read your Depop account, so it cannot look up attribution for you.

Region and old examples

Help-center examples from other dates and from the UK are easy to mix into a US estimate. Use the US fee table for a US shop, and keep an older listing on an actual-fee override until that listing’s rule is reviewed on its own.

Common questions

I turned boosting off. Is the fee gone?

Not automatically. A qualifying interaction can still attribute a later sale. If you are unsure, compare the boosted and unboosted estimates.

Does every boosted listing pay the fee on every sale?

Attribution matters. The help page describes when a sale is connected to the boost. The calculator does not decide that from the price alone.
